On Sunday, May 14, 2016, a truck drove off the curve on Bayou Blvd.

The vehicle went into the Inverness pond at about 12:30 pm.

Luckily, a man following pulled the driver out of the truck window.

Tow truck operator had to swim to the truck to connect the cable.
